Victoria (Vickee) Matthews was born and raised in the Tidewater Regional area of Virginia. She attended Clarion University before transferring to Liberty University majoring in Family and Child Development and Women's Leadership. During her time at Liberty, she would spend her time building relationships and discipling young children as she served at her local church. She would also host a monthly gathering of women for worship, prayer, and a time in the word through a para-church ministry called The Blush Network.
During a visit with Cody and Jess Bockelkamp, Cody presented the opportunity for her to join the launch team. For one year, she committed to praying about this opportunity and if this is something God was asking of her to step into. After much prayer, and many God given answers of confirmation, she has since said yes to the calling to Pittsburgh. In September of 2017, Vickee committed to joining the leadership team for the Missio Dei Community Church plant. |
